1971 Lancia Fulvia Berlina (Saloon) Series II 5 Speed
The Lancia Fulvia saloon was true engineering at its best –and far ahead of most of the opposition.
An all-synchromesh 5 speed gear box was fitted on all Series II models, with fully independent suspension consisting of wishbones and a single leaf spring at the front, and a beam axle with a Panhard rod and leaf springs at the rear.
Being fitted with the 1298cc V4 engine and twin Solex carburettors, the performance is surprising for a 70s 1300cc saloon car.
This superb example has been treated with utmost care by its one owner, and is showing just 29000 kms, which whilst we cannot confirm, is suggested to be correct by the condition of the car.
Having undergone a full respray some 10 yrs ago in its splendid colour of Bronzo Ascot, it has a near perfect sheen and body to match the care lavished on the car, whilst the original interior of beige cloth has stood the test of time very well.
All the electrics work on the car as they should, with the front door puddle lights still operational.
This Fulvia Saloon has undergone meticulous preparation for the UK MOT test, of which it passed with flying colours, so being already UK NOVA registered is ready to meet its new owner. A complete engine service was carried out, with oils, plugs, filters, brake lines and brake pads on all four disc brakes, the cooling system also benefiting from a new water pump. The wheel trims are in as new condition as can be seen by the photos.
All original Italian Handbooks and documentation are supplied with the car, as is two sets of Keys. The Original tool kit and jack are comfortably tucked away in the boot, along with the original accessory floor mats.
The solidness of this car is second to none and deserves to be a viewed to be fully appreciated.
